Vote Early, Vote Often...

So, J&J has been nominated for two Quills Awards - best debut book and best cooking-related book. I'm up against Julia Child, Bill Buford, AND Rachel Ray, so I'm not optimistic, but what the hell... And it's a people's choice type deal, so you can help! Vote here: www.quillsvote.com

hi julie,

just wanted to tell everyone that as long as they're voting for you, they should also cast a vote for alison bechdel's fabulous graphic novel, fun home.

Good luck, Julie! I voted for you (twice). I DO hope you win, as I love a great story with lots of swear words. You talk just like me! Sorry, cybercita, I like Rachael Ray, too. She's all about getting dinner the hell on the table instead of calling for takeout. And I gotta respect that.
But GO JULIE!!

I just wanted to say that I am two thirds the way through reading your book and IT'S FANTASTIC! I have an hour's journey (sometimes more - that's the London Underground for you!) to and from work each day so I can really get stuck in. On two or more occassions, forgetting where I am, I have laughed out loud whilest avidly reading and got rather odd looks from other commuters - cheer up travelers!! I too am in the early stages of my third decade on this earth and have recently become rather too obsessed with all things culinary and retro kitchenalia, your book and others comments have resored my faith that I am not going entirely mad and can carry on creating safe in the knowldge that there are others out there too. Many thanks and long may you continue writing.

I have to say, after hearing a lot about your book and reading you in the NY Times magazine, I was very curious about your book - I loved the article, by the way.

I just voted for you and I think it's interesting that you are up against Julia Child When I found myself at the Strand in Manhattan at 9pm on a Tuesday just because my husband had an urge to buy a book and promised he would buy me one if I went with him, I ended up with your book and Julia's book in my hands. After hesitating, I picked yours, thinking that I'll wait until the day we move to Paris (someday, someday!) to read hers.

We are not moving to Paris yet but now that I am almost done with your book, I can't wait to go get My Life in France... and I am still fighting an urge to try my hand at MAoFC!!

Thansk for your inspiring book and good luck with the Quill!

Julie, I voted for you in several categories... look forward to meeting you in Illinois in November. Apparently we are having lunch - lovely! I have a copy of your book to give back to you actually.. it is stuffed with comments, photos, articles and other paraphenalia that friends added. Its wonderful.. It became like a portable book club being sent overseas and back. Fantastic read. My friend gave your book to her therapist. haha.

Hello Julie,

I am a new blogger and I too have been on a "learning to cook" adventure this year so I was thrilled to find out about your book. It is our book group pick for next month.

I also have a potty mouth and I'm sensing from your comments to the left that I'm going to really enjoy this.

Congrats on your success!

Hello, this is a unique and information piece of content. The importance of primary data is that they are able to specifically address the topic or the research question under focus. While this is true, they have one major shortcoming. This disadvantage is that such data do not make sense in their raw form. Also, they are quite voluminous hence the need to analyze them. Did you know that it is now possible to order for SPSS Data Analysis Writing Help

Ooddles has been developing dog food since 2016; it all started when a family member of a breeder became aware of the low-quality ingredients used in many dog foods commonly available. After extensive research, they developed two formulas with leading UK manufacturers. They launched two dry food products, the original two lines called Game On and The Catch which became very popular, very quickly, and still very popular today, these formulas were aimed at crossbreeds, although suitable for all breeds. Always selling out of the two lines, it became apparent the food was well received.
